Function and benefits
HoodEye™ effectively prevents stray light from entering when looking through the viewfinder.
This gives you a more brilliant and higher-contrast viewfinder image, making manual focusing and selecting the image section easier!
Mounting and material
Mounting is quick and easy by sliding it onto the clamping profile, with a special self-locking quick-change mechanism guaranteeing a firm, secure hold of the eyecup on your camera. The model for Nikon round viewfinders is screwed on. Depending on the model, the quick-release clamp or screw thread and the inner ring of the viewfinder are made of either metal or plastic. The actual cup is made of rubber.
Right- or left-eye viewing
The HoodEYE eyecup, thanks to its rotatable rubber cup, is suitable for viewing with either the right or left eye.
