The LensCoat™ telephoto lens cover made of neoprene protects your valuable lens from impacts and scratches. The material provides light shock absorption and reduces abrasion caused by friction, for example from straps, zippers or other accessories in your backpack. Especially on frequent outdoor trips, this results in fewer visible signs of use and helps preserve the long-term value.
In addition, the material often improves grip, giving you secure handling during fast movements and longer sessions.
Insulation for better handling in the cold
The cover also provides an insulating function, which makes handling the lens more comfortable in extreme cold. Instead of gripping the cold lens surface directly, your hand rests on insulating neoprene, ideal for winter use and long outdoor sessions.
Transparent access to AF controls
The cover has a transparent plastic window over the autofocus switches. This allows you to quickly check and adjust settings without having to remove the lens cover, which is convenient when things need to move fast.
