The L85 Multiuse Fore-Aft Plate from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible quick release plate, designed for camera bodies and collared telephoto lenses. The plate attaches to a lens foot via a 1/4"-20 screw. This quick-release plate utilizes a custom machined 1/4"-20 threaded, captive-style mounting screw that threads into the tripod mounting socket of your lens foot.
The L85 lens foot is compatible with most lenses, current and discontinued.
The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate has a black anodized type II finish, and an anti-twist flange prevents any movement between the plate and lens foot. Located on the bottom of the plate are two safety stop screws, which help to prevent any accidental release from a clamp.
