The Leofoto GW-01 gear head allows precise positioning of the camera to the object and that in three axes! The fine adjustment is made via the large fluted knobs.

To quickly align the camera, the gearhead can be decoupled in each axis via the black, star-shaped rotary handles. If you press a handle, the corresponding axis is free to move. If you let go of the handle, the gear and fine adjustment engages.

The three spirit levels help to find an exactly horizontal setting for each axis, if this is desired.

The scales for each axis can be used to reproduce any angle. This is interesting if, for example, you want to always photograph objects at the same angle in macro photography.

The head can be rotated 360°, tilted 90° forward or 30° backward. In addition, further tilting of up to 90° is possible to quickly switch to portrait format.
