The ball heads of the MA series are very interesting for both photographers and sport shooters. The special quick coupling is suitable for quick-release plates according to the Arca-Swiss standard and for Weaver/Picatinny handrails, as found on many modern weapons.
Thanks to the one-handed operation, they are suitable for all situations where things have to be done quickly. The silver handle allows you to quickly open and close the ball fixation. Inside there is a black knob to adjust the friction (resistance).
The MG-40 can be loaded up to 20 kg. The large 40mm diameter ball withstands heavy camera equipment, but also the recoil of powerful calibers.
This model is equipped with the LSC-50 quick-change coupling. The special feature of this coupling is that it has a double clamping function. Either for classic Arca Swiss quick release plates or for Picatinny/Weaver rails. So you can quickly convert your photo tripod to a shooting stick.
