Tripod head base plate

These base plates have been specially developed for users who want to work with a ball head, video panhead or gimbal head, depending on the task at hand. They are simply attached to the underside of the tripod head and the two locking screws ensure absolute torsion resistance.

These base plates are always designed specifically for each product so as not to impair the function of the tripod head mounted on them. They are best combined with half shells that have an Arca-Swiss mount. They are currently available in five different versions.

This base plate was developed for the video heads of the BV-10 series and the PG-1 gimbal head.

For the metal parts, Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components. This corrosion-resistant material is characterized by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to structural steel. All parts are milled from the solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines
