With the modular replacement foot, you can quickly, securely, and easily attach your telephoto lens to a standard video tripod head (e.g., from Sachtler/Manfrotto/Benro/Sirui, etc.).
The modular replacement foot is based on either the VP-140 (140 mm long) or VP-210 (210 mm long) video plate, depending on your choice. In addition to the quick-release profile for video tripod heads, this quick-release plate also has 2 x QD mounts, which, in combination with straps that have the corresponding QD strap anchors, ensure greater safety and comfort when carrying your valuable camera-lens combination.
The video plate has a slot so that you can use the lens base of your choice (CaNiS-S or CaNis-L) to securely and conveniently use your telephoto lens as a lens foot. The bases can be moved in the slot depending on the required center of gravity. This gives you a perfectly fitting replacement foot for your lens combination – which can also be adapted to other lenses.
With this modular replacement foot, you no longer have to forego the advantages and convenience of the quick-change system when using video heads.
If you need a replacement foot with Arca Style (38 mm dovetail profile), that's no problem either. Instead of the video plate, you mount a lens plate (OP-100 / OP-130 / OP-160) on the existing lens base.
