This Mounting Platform from Wimberley is an Arca-type compatible quick release clamp that serves as a spare or replacement part for the one included with the WH-200 gimbal head. It can also be used with select heads from Really Right Stuff, Custom Brackets, or Benro that have compatible vertical arms with dovetail grooves.
A pronged knob is available for adjusting the jaws of the clamp, featuring a captive screw that prevents the knob from completely unscrewing and keeps everything united. For greater forward and backward adjustability while shooting, two shallow channels are machined into the platform and can be used with plates that are equipped with optional safety stop screws.
