Berlebach quick-release clamp 130 without quick-release plate, compact and cleanly manufactured

The Berlebach quick-release clamp 130 is a flat quick-release base made of aluminum, black anodized, and designed precisely so that you can quickly secure your camera or optics on the tripod head without having to fiddle around every time. With a diameter of 70 mm it remains pleasantly compact, has a height of only 16 mm so it doesn’t build up unnecessarily, and still feels surprisingly stable. The base area measures 70 mm x 94 mm, the weight is 110 g, i.e. 0.11 kg. Delivery does not include the quick-release plate shown.

Safety mechanism with red release button so nothing slips out unintentionally

Berlebach has integrated a safety system here that prevents the quick-release plate from accidentally slipping out of the opened clamp. However, this safety feature only works in combination with Berlebach quick-release plates. It is unlocked via the red button on the side of the base; only then can the plate be removed completely freely. In everyday use this is one of those small details you quickly come to appreciate, especially when things get hectic or you are working with gloves. If you have quick-release plates from other manufacturers, you can simply remove the pin. Then those will also work in the clamp.

ARCA compatible and open to many dovetail plates

The clamp is designed for the Arca-Style UniQ/C standard, i.e. ARCA compatible. At the same time it also accepts dovetail plates from other manufacturers, including Burzynski dovetail, Berlebach dovetail, Novoflex dovetail, Really Right Stuff dovetail, Wimberley dovetail and Kirk dovetail. So if you are already using 38 mm dovetail plates, this will often fit very well in practice without you having to rebuild your entire setup.

Two spirit levels, because leveling sometimes just needs to be faster

For leveling, two spirit levels are integrated: a tubular level and a circular level. That may sound like a “nice to have” at first, but it’s actually very practical when you want to get the head level quickly, for example for landscape, architecture, or when you need a clean grid in the viewfinder. We like the combination because, depending on your viewing angle, you immediately have a suitable reference.

Mounting with continuous photo thread, 3/8 UNC plus reduction to 1/4 UNC

On the underside there is a continuous threaded hole: 1 x 3/8" UNC photo thread, including a reducer to 1/4" UNC. This means the quick-release clamp 130 fits both many tripod heads and accessories that still use 1/4". The screw clamp provides finely adjustable clamping force, not jerky but controlled, just the way you want it.

Scope of delivery and important note regarding the quick-release plate

The scope of delivery includes the quick-release clamp, nothing else. A quick-release plate is explicitly not included in the scope of delivery, so please take this into account when placing your order if you do not yet have a suitable plate.
