Eckla CAMFIX - car window photo tripod

The ECKLA-CAMFIX camera tripod is a universal accessory for photographers for use with cameras, spotting scopes, microphones, etc. With the CAMFIX, photo or video recordings can be made from the driver’s or passenger door of a car. It is also suitable as a tripod for repro or macro photography on a table. Lamps and flash units can also be mounted in an upright position. Whether you use the ECKLA-CAMFIX standing, lying, or hanging depends on the situation.

Use on the vehicle window

Use as a car door camera tripod:

The ECKLA-CAMFIX has a retaining groove for the side windows of a car, which should be largely opened. In addition, we supply a hanging plate to be placed between the side window and the window seal. In this case, the side window can be raised slightly for protection. The sturdy design makes it possible to use even heavy camera equipment (for example a camera with a 600 mm telephoto lens).

Macro shots in the field

Use in outdoor macro photography:

The versatile ECKLA-CAMFIX can also be used for outdoor macro photography of plants and small animals. If the ground is soft, use a pad or a beanbag under the CAMFIX if necessary.

Stabilization on the body

Use as chest or shoulder support:

The ECKLA-CAMFIX camera tripod can also be used as a shoulder or chest support, for example with a telephoto lens of 80–200 mm or 300 mm etc., or with a video camera.

Video use from a car

Use as a video tripod:

With the ECKLA-CAMFIX it is easy to position a video camera on the car door and control filming with a remote control. Sports events, dog training, and other situations can also easily be filmed from the car. The same applies to observing wildlife with a spotting scope from a car – the car functions as a kind of camouflage and weather protection.

Repro and macro photography on a table

You also have the option of attaching the ECKLA-CAMFIX to a tabletop using a clamp in order to take macro or repro shots.

Low-noise sound recordings

Sound recordings:

The ECKLA-CAMFIX is coated with plastic, which means that it cannot conduct sound or generate noise. It can therefore also be used indoors or in nature with shotgun microphones for sound recordings. Thanks to the plastic coating, you can also use the ECKLA-CAMFIX in cold weather without your hands freezing to the cold metal.

The CAMFIX can also hold all kinds of lighting equipment or flash units and can be adjusted in all conceivable directions with minimal reflections. It is also suitable for electric and remote-controlled flashes.
