Mounting and material design
Mounting is quick and easy by sliding it onto the clamping profile, with a special self-latching quick-change mechanism guaranteeing a firm, secure hold of the eyecup on your camera. The model for Nikon round eyepieces is screwed on. Depending on the model, the quick-change clamp or screw thread and the inner ring of the viewfinder are made of metal or plastic. The actual cup is made of rubber.
Suitability for right- and left-eye viewing
The HoodEYE eyecup is suitable for viewing with the right or left eye thanks to the rotatable rubber cup.
