The LensCoat TravelCoat for the Nikon 500mm VR with lens hood in Digital Camo is a precisely fitting transport and protective cover for your telephoto lens. It was specially developed for safe storage and protected transport and reliably shields your lens from impacts, scratches, dust, and other external influences. The distinctive digital camo design also gives your gear a characteristic outdoor look.
Protective solution for transport and storage
The TravelCoat is designed for the Nikon 500mm VR with the lens hood in the transport position. The cover is simply pulled over the lens and securely closed with a hook-and-loop fastener. This way your lens is quickly protected and stored in a space-saving manner.
The integrated opening for the tripod foot ensures that the TravelCoat can also be used conveniently in combination with the lens foot. This makes the protective cover ideal for travel, transport in a camera backpack, or safe storage at home.
3 mm neoprene for impact-absorbing protection
Made from 3 mm thick neoprene, the TravelCoat provides an impact-absorbing and protective cover for your lens. The material helps to preserve the delicate surface of your telephoto lens from damage while adding very little bulk. This leaves more room for additional equipment in your bag or suitcase.
Compatible with additional LensCoat accessories
The TravelCoat can be used together with a LensCoat lens cover. For complete protection of the front element, you additionally need a suitable lens cap from LensCoat, i.e. a Hoodie in the appropriate size. This allows you to complement your lens sensibly all around and protect it even better.
