Note on the zoom mechanism: when extended, one area remains uncovered
Please note that the cover cannot cover the lens’s moving zoom section, so when fully extended, approximately 75 mm remain exposed. This is due to the construction, so that zooming continues to function smoothly. In normal use, however, LensCoat still protects the sensitive outer surfaces and the areas that are most stressed during transport and handling.
