Premium protection for your lens in daily use
In addition, the cover provides an insulating function that makes handling the lens in extreme cold more comfortable. As a custom-designed solution, it offers premium protection for your lens, is beneficial for resale, and does not fit any other lens models.
Full operability despite protective cover
The cover has a clear plastic window over the autofocus and image stabilizer switches as well as the distance scale. Thanks to its segmented construction with elements made of cushioning neoprene, full functionality is maintained, controls remain accessible, and the segmented design to preserve the full functionality of the lens supports practical use in the field.
Mounting and use at the extended zoom range
The opening above the red dot for easy mounting of the lens on the camera is very helpful.
This cover includes an additional segment for the moving zoom section of the lens so that it is also protected when fully extended. This additional element can be quickly attached with the Velcro fastener and just as easily removed when not in use.
Two further elements included in the scope of delivery (not shown) allow coverage on the camera side when using the lens with a collar.
