The segmented design to maintain full functionality of the lens is precisely matched to this construction and does not fit any other lens models. This keeps operation comfortable, as controls remain accessible. The transparent windows over the autofocus and image stabilizer switches as well as over the distance scale help you keep an eye on important settings at all times.
Practical in the cold and in the field
The neoprene used provides an insulating function and makes handling at cold temperatures more pleasant. In addition, the opening above the red dot makes it easier to quickly mount it on the camera. For the extended zoom range, an additional segment is provided that can be quickly attached with a Velcro fastener and just as easily removed again.

Additional parts for use with tripod collar
