Adapter design and possible uses
The Leofoto FA-08 is part of Leofoto’s Flash Adapter Collection [FA]. This adapter has an accessory shoe base in the middle of the plate, allowing you to place it on your camera, for example. The FA-08 has a length of 14 cm with an accessory shoe adapter at both ends. The distance between the two adapters keeps the field of view clear for the person behind the camera. This also gives you enough space for your mounted accessories. The FA-08 adapter weighs only 43 grams and is CNC-machined from aircraft aluminum.

Leofoto Flash Adapter Collection
The Flash Adapter Collection from Leofoto consists of 16 different adapters. They are used to easily attach accessories to your camera, tripod, or rig. Each adapter has its own features that expand the mounting options. You can combine the Flash Adapters to find a suitable (mounting) solution for the accessories you want to use.
The FA-01 to FA-09 are conventional adapters that allow you to attach accessories to the adapter. The FA-12 to FA-16 adapters can be combined with small, handy quick-release plates (FA-10 and FA-11), so you can remove accessories even faster and more easily. This means that flashes, microphones, LED panels, and action cameras can also be equipped with a quick-release system.
