The Leofoto FA-16 adapter is part of the Flash Adapter [FA] collection from Leofoto. What makes this flash adapter special is that you can attach it to an Arca-Swiss profile. With the FA-16, you can make an accessory shoe quick release connection to an Arca-Swiss rail or a Leofoto L-mount. The FA-16 acts as a base to attach to your rig's Arca-Swiss rail or L-plate The FA-10 is where you attach a camera accessory. The special V-shaped base makes it easy to slide the FA-10 quick release plate onto an FA-16 V quick release clamp. Use the gray knob to adjust the width of the Arca-Swiss clamp. An Allen wrench is included to secure the clamp to the rail. By pressing the gray lever down, you can immediately remove the quick release plate including accessories.
The FA-16 comes standard with the FA-10 quick-release plate. If you want a quick release plate with a ¼-inch screw thread instead of an accessory shoe, you can use the Leofoto FA-11 quick release plate, sold separately.
