Mounting on Arca-Style Rail
The special feature of this flash adapter is that it can be attached to an ARCA compatible Arca-Style rail. With the FA-16 you can create a cold shoe quick-release connection to an Arca-Style rail or a Leofoto L-bracket. The FA-16 acts as a base that you attach to the Arca-Style rail of your rig or to the L-plate. You attach a camera accessory to the FA-10. The special V-shaped underside makes it easier to slide the FA-10 quick-release plate onto an FA-16 V quick-release clamp. With the gray rotary knob you can adjust the width of the Arca-Style clamp. A hex key is included to attach the clamp to the rail. By pressing the gray lever down, you can instantly remove the quick-release plate including accessories.
Scope of delivery and optional quick-release plate
The FA-16 comes standard with the FA-10 quick-release plate. If you want a quick-release plate with a ¼-inch screw thread instead of a cold shoe, you can use the separately available Leofoto FA-11 quick-release plate.

Adapter types and combination options
The FA-01 to FA-09 are conventional adapters that allow you to attach the accessories to the adapter. The FA-12 to FA-16 adapters can be combined with small, handy quick-release plates (FA-10 and FA-11), so that you can remove the accessories even faster and more easily. This means that flashes, microphones, LED panels, and action cameras can also be equipped with a quick-release system.
