Leofoto LB-60N leveling base: precise alignment without detours
With the Leofoto LB-60N leveling base, you can align your camera perfectly horizontally without having to readjust the tripod legs every time. The tripod plate and base plate each have a diameter of 6.0 cm, which looks compact, but sits securely and simply feels “right” in practice. Especially when things need to move quickly, such a leveling base is a small part with a big impact.
60 mm platform, 15 kg load capacity: made for serious setups
The LB-60N supports up to 15 kg while remaining pleasantly compact. Weighing 206 g and with a height of 5.0 cm, it fits well between tripod and head without being unnecessarily bulky. That’s exactly why we would classify it as an accessory for professional work: it doesn’t just “work”, it also remains steady under load, even with heavier cameras, long telephoto lenses or a solid video head on top.
±15° tilt range and bubble level: quickly leveled, clearly controlled
You can compensate for a tilt range of ±15°, which in reality is often more than you’d think, for example on uneven ground, rock, cobblestones, or in the studio when the surface isn’t perfectly level. An integrated bubble level helps you check the alignment directly. Take a quick look, fine-tune, done.
3/8 inch UNC connection: compatible with many tripods
On the underside there is a threaded hole with 1 x 3/8 inch UNC photo thread. This allows you to use the Leofoto LB-60N on all tripods that work with a 3/8 inch tripod screw. This is practical because you don’t have to look for adapters first, and everything is screwed together cleanly, without play and with high stability.
6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized: robust, unobtrusive, durable
The leveling base is made from 6061-T6 aluminum. On top of that comes the black anodizing, which not only looks good but also withstands a lot in everyday use. The base also has a diameter of 6.0 cm, which provides a well-balanced contact surface and distributes the forces evenly instead of applying pressure at a single point.
