We’re talking about a stable platform that can be mounted directly on a tripod, which simply makes sense on set, in the studio, or for live streaming. Mounting with panning base and ARCA-compatible clamp
Under the holder sits an integrated panning base that makes mounting pleasantly easy, especially if you rebuild your setup frequently or want to adjust the angle quickly. You can attach the LCH-2 either via the 38 mm dovetail clamp profile or alternatively via a 1/4" UNC female thread or a 3/8" UNC female thread. According to the manufacturer, the clamp profile fits into ARCA compatible 38 mm quick-release clamps, which in practice simply opens up many options, depending on what you are already using.
Dimensions, material, and weight: built for stability
The Leofoto LCH-2 is made from 6061 T6 aluminum. This is a material you see so often in the accessories sector for good reason, because it’s robust without adding unnecessary bulk.
