Compact ball head for lightweight setups
The Leofoto MBC-20 is a compact and lightweight ball head weighing 104 g with a load capacity of 8 kg. It is suitable for small DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or other small accessories for photo or video applications.
Material, workmanship, and connection
The 5.4 cm high micro ball head is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with steel components. Both metals have a durable finish. The aluminum has a black anodized surface, while the steel components are ferritic nitrocarburized, which protects the surfaces from scratches and oxidation. On the underside of the shaft there is a mount with an internal UNC 1/4"-16 thread.
Operation and adjustment options
The integrated screw knob locks the clamp, while the second locking wheel surrounding the first knob allows the head to rotate a full 360° at the top end of the shaft.
Quick release and 90° positioning
The quick-release lever disengages to allow movement on the ball, and the notch at the bottom of the head allows it to be positioned at a 90° angle
