Leofoto MP-326C carbon monopod

Leofoto MP-326C carbon monopod for on the go and long focal lengths

Sometimes you just need a bit of stability without carrying all the bulk of a tripod. That’s exactly where the Leofoto MP-326C carbon monopod fits in: light, compact, and still really strong. For travel photography that’s convenient because it hardly takes up any space in your backpack, and with telephoto work you’ll notice the difference immediately when the camera is more stable.

With 6 leg sections and 5 extensions it stays nice and short for transport, with a transport length of 43.7 cm. Fully extended you get a maximum height of 155.3 cm, about 1.55 m, which in practice works well for many setups, even when you want to shoot from a slightly higher position.

High load capacity with low weight

The MP-326C supports up to 20 kg maximum load. That’s not just a number on paper, but simply reassuring when you’re working with a heavy telephoto lens, a large body, or additional accessories. At the same time, the monopod itself weighs only 483 g, around 0.48 kg. That makes it more likely you’ll take it with you instead of leaving it at home. And yes, that’s often exactly the point.

The leg tubes are made of carbon, with 10-layer wrapping, and the diameters are neatly graduated: 32, 28, 25, 22, and 19 mm. This provides a stable base while keeping the design slim.

6 sections with anti-twist protection and comfortable handling

The 6 leg sections feature anti-twist protection. That sounds technical, but in everyday use it makes a real difference because the sections don’t rotate against each other when extended. You can set it up faster, and overall it just feels more controlled.

The top section has a foam covering. This gives the monopod a secure grip in your hand, protects against the cold, and makes carrying it more comfortable, especially when you’re out for longer periods or quickly changing locations.

A wrist strap is also included. It’s one of those small details you only miss when it’s not there, because it lets you handle the monopod more securely and keeps it from slipping out of your hand so easily while walking.

Top thread: 1/4" UNC and 3/8" UNC

At the top, the Leofoto MP-326C offers both a 1/4" UNC and a 3/8" UNC thread. This lets you work directly depending on your setup or mount a suitable tripod head without having to improvise with adapters. Practical, simple, effective.
