Inverted leg extension for quick setup and increased stability
The tripods of the SO series feature an inverted leg extension. This means that after opening the twist lock, the outer extension tube slides down and not the inner one. The design deliberately avoids adding even more leg segments. This allows the tripod to be set up more quickly and intuitively and provides additional stability even under demanding conditions.
Compact transport size without center column
Omitting a center column also ensures high stability with compact transport dimensions. Instead, the two tripod tubes are designed so that even a shooter who is two meters tall has a comfortable view.
Carbon legs with diamond-shaped winding
The legs of this tripod are wound from 10 layers of carbon fibers (carbon). The special diamond-shaped winding of these layers provides additional stability and vibration damping with the lowest possible weight!
High-quality aluminum alloy for metal parts
For the metal parts, Leofoto uses the high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloying components.
