That’s exactly what the Leofoto TFS stainless steel spikes with rubber caps are made for. You screw them onto tripod legs with a 3/8 inch UNC thread and get noticeably more grip without having to fiddle around with your setup for long.
And yes, it’s a set of 3. So it fits a classic three-legged tripod, just as it should.

The spikes are made of stainless steel. That’s not just “kind of robust”, but simply practical in everyday use, because the tips still perform cleanly even after many outdoor uses and don’t give way easily. On soft ground they grip reliably, on uneven terrain they have a stabilizing effect, and in windy conditions the whole setup often feels a bit calmer.

A small detail that you only really appreciate once you’ve lost it: the tripod foot is secured against loss by the plastic O-ring used. It doesn’t sound spectacular, but it makes a real difference in the field because nothing just goes missing.
