The PromediaGear PAH1 adapter is a compact, cleanly manufactured adapter for ProMediaGear camera plates (PB series) that you mount on the side of your PMG camera plate. This gives you a mounting point exactly where it’s often missing in everyday use: on the side, easy to reach, without the plate itself getting in the way. The PAH1 can take either the Rapid Strap QR connector in black or a Spider Holster connector, depending on how you carry your camera.

It’s also practical that it can be mounted on both sides. Left, right – it adapts to your setup, and yes, sometimes the position of the grip or the cage is what decides it.

Side mounting on PMG camera plates (PB series)

You attach the PAH1 mounting plate adapter directly to the side of the ProMediaGear camera plates (PB series). The design is intended so that the adapter can be mounted on both sides of the camera plates. This is helpful if you change your carrying style or if a mounting point on one side is blocked by other accessories.

Compatible with Rapid Strap QR connector and Spider Holster connector

The adapter can hold the black Rapid Strap QR connector as well as the Spider Holster connector. This keeps your setup flexible, whether you prefer working with a strap or carrying the camera on a holster. And because the connector sits on the side, there is often more space left at the bottom of the plate for a tripod head, quick-release clamp, or whatever else you use.

1/4"-20 thread in three directions

The PAH1 offers a 1/4"-20 thread in three directions: upwards, downwards, and away from the camera. This orientation is not just “nice to have”; it makes the difference when you want to position a plug or adapter so that it doesn’t hit the body, grip, or L-bracket. Especially in tight builds this is worth its weight in gold, even if it sounds like a small detail.

Set screw as anti-rotation lock

A set screw prevents screwed-in plugs or adapters from coming loose. This is a simple but very effective anti-rotation lock, especially when you’re on the move, putting the camera down and picking it up again frequently, constantly putting strain on the connector. In addition, a set screw as an anti-rotation lock for screw-in adapters is included in the scope of delivery.

T6061 lightweight metal alloy and black anodized finish

The adapter is made from T6061 lightweight metal alloy. The material is strong yet pleasantly light and pairs well with high-quality camera accessories. On top of that, there is a black anodized, scratch-resistant finish that doesn’t immediately show every touch in everyday use. It keeps a low-key look without shining and simply feels solid.
