On the top, a finely milled quick-release clamp with a 38 mm dovetail profile securely holds your Arca-style compatible plates. The 1/4" threaded hole in the center of the clamp allows you to mount it on tripod heads with a flat mounting platform, compact ball heads or custom brackets. The underside is flat and additionally equipped with a dovetail profile running perpendicular to the clamping direction, so you can flexibly integrate the B2-FABN into existing systems without a lot of tinkering.

According to the manufacturer, the B2-FABN mini quick-release clamp is Arca-style compatible and accepts Arca-style compatible (according to the manufacturer) 38 mm dovetail, Really Right Stuff dovetail, Wimberley dovetail and Kirk dovetail. The edges are deburred, the jaws move without play, and the captive locking knob sits close to the jaw so that nothing sticks out or gets caught. Weighing only 55 g, with a length of 38 mm and a height of 15 mm (without locking knob), the clamp remains pleasantly compact without feeling delicate or fragile.

Thoughtful details: scale, centering marks and safety features

On the sides of the jaws you will find a laser-engraved scale that lets you position your camera or plate reproducibly. In the middle of the clamping profile there are engraved centering marks that help you with alignment, for example when you want to balance your setup as precisely as possible. Generous cutouts in the clamping area ensure that plates with safety stop screws can be inserted without any problems. These safety stop screws prevent the plate from accidentally sliding out of the quick-release clamp if you have not fully opened the clamp. Thanks to the integrated dovetail profile on the underside, which runs perpendicular to the clamping direction, you can also use the clamp as an adapter in other dovetail mounts. A special feature of the Really Right Stuff B2-FABN are the three integrated strap lugs. Two opposite lugs are designed for straps up to 18 mm wide, and another lug opposite the locking screw accommodates straps up to 25 mm wide. When using it on straps with threaded studs, we strongly recommend securing the screw connection with a drop of BLUE Loctite so that nothing can loosen unnoticed under load or movement.
