Mounting on the TVC tripod (Series 3)
Mounting is straightforward, but not just “somehow slapped on”. First you remove the mounting platform and the hook from the TVC tripod (Series 3). Then you insert the TA-3-QC center column. Afterwards, you reattach the mounting platform on top of the center column and reinstall the retaining hook at the bottom. Done. Sounds simple, and it is, once you’ve done it once.
The practical part: you keep the familiar tripod logic but add real height adjustment via the center column. For macro, product shots, or when the ground just doesn’t cooperate.
