The Really Right Stuff TVC-24L Mk2 is the long version of the RRS Series 2 tripods, with a maximum working height of 1.69 m.
Series 2 tripod for medium setups
The Mk2 Series 2 tripods are the perfect choice for medium-sized camera-lens combinations. Common medium-sized camera-lens combinations include most DSLR cameras and 70–200 mm f/2.8 & 300 mm f/4 telephoto setups. This tripod is perfectly complemented by the Really Right Stuff BH-40 ball head.

Design features and quality details
Really Right Stuff tripods are particularly high-quality and are characterized, among other things, by the following features:
- Twist locks with integrated wipers to keep particles away from the locking mechanism, providing better resistance to dust and dirt.
- Improved grip on the twist locks
- Collets replace the old locking pins, reducing the locking rotation to half the travel distance, allowing faster locking and unlocking with less effort.
- O-rings help keep the threads clean and smooth while providing better tactile feedback
- Vented legs allow faster retraction of the legs without pressure build-up
- Threaded inserts on the sides of the tripod shoulder provide better placement of accessories such as QD mounts or a BC-18
- Fewer tools needed when changing apex accessories. The 2 & 3 Series SureGrip (TVC models only) now uses the same 5/32” hex key that is also used for the RRS lens and camera plates
- Optimal ratio of load capacity to weight
- Made from CNC-milled 6061 T6 aluminum
- Closed tripod shoulder for maximum stability and reliability
