This plant clip is not a replacement clip for the Plamp II.

The plant clip:

the clip can be closed very precisely using a screw
the foam pads prevent damage to delicate plant parts
made of Zytel ST and therefore extremely resistant to mechanical damage
grooves on the inside prevent plant parts or reflectors from slipping in the clamp
the deeper notch allows secure holding of slightly larger cylindrical objects (e.g. mini flashlights...)
maximum opening of the plant clip: 2.54 cm
