One tripod, several tripod heads, and tired of screwing them on and off?
We have the perfect solution for you. Our new tripod head quick release system will give you the ability to quickly and easily switch between ball heads, pan heads, gimbal heads and more. Our system consists of two parts. The tripod quick release and our tripod head quick release plates, both shown below. Installation is simple, by installing the quick release on the top of your tripod and installing one of the two quick release plates on your tripod head that best suits your needs. You will be up in going in no time. The tripod head quick release plates, offer a 3/8-16 mounting bolt, anti-rotation mounting screw and two oversized safety stops to ensure a perfect and safe assembly. Follow the steps below to decide which assembly will work best for your needs depending on the base size of your tripod heads.
Tripod Quick Release Assembly
Tripod quick release is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and stainless. The mounting hole size will accept a 3/8-16 tripod stud. Also offered in the quick release is an anti-rotation lock screw, oversized safety stop pockets, and a captive quick release knob.
The small quick disconnect plate is recommended for tripod head bases 2.250 inches and under.
