Inflatable floating hides are a unique way to explore the lakes and ponds and get a close look at the waterfowl that is living there. You can shoot really intimate images because you can get very close to the subject without disturbing them.

Please note: For the first use, a single hole must be drilled in the mounting plate for the tripod mount. You can easily drill the hole with a 15 mm (wood) drill bit. Drill at a low speed so that the drill bit does not get hot and the plastic does not melt on the drill bit. The correct position of the hole is very individual and depends on the combination of tripod head and lens.

In our opinion, pre-drilling several holes for each Floating Hide would weaken the plate too much. In addition, the Floating Hide can also be used very well in combination with a bean bag tripod without the need for drilling.
