The versatile Leofoto WN-03 tripod is for hanging on car windows or walls. It impresses with its high load capacity, which is achieved by 22 millimeter thick aluminum tubes. These tubes are rubberized with 2 millimeter thick plastic to protect paint or other sensitive parts. The tripod thus allows the use of spotting scopes or cameras with telephoto lenses.
The built-in tilt mechanism allows a +/- 15° tilt for compensation. Thus, even at a window with a slant, the instrument can be aligned horizontally. Instead of a ball head, the use of a tilter is thus also possible.
The mounting plate is adjustable in height, so that the tripod can be adapted even better.
All major knobs are large and ergonomically designed for quick and firm clamping.
The tripod is made of high quality anodized aluminum alloy (6061-T6). It features excellent corrosion resistance and a yield strength comparable to mild steel.
The connection of an optional tripod head, for example ball head, is made via a 3/8" photo thread.
