LensCoat LensHide - camouflage cover - Realtree AP Snow
Product description at a glance
LensCoat LensHide Realtree AP Snow for discreet wildlife photography
The LensCoat LensHide camouflage throw-over in Realtree AP Snow reliably conceals you together with camera and tripod for nature and wildlife photography. Thanks to its lightweight and flexible design, you remain mobile and agile, even where a classic hide tent would be too impractical.
Camouflage pattern for bright winter environments
LensCoat LensHide Realtree AP Snow with winter-ready camouflage effect
The Realtree AP Snow camouflage color is particularly suitable for bright, frosty, or snow-covered environments. This makes this version ideal for use in winter, in open landscapes, or anywhere that light camouflage patterns offer an advantage over darker colors.
Material and wearing comfort
Lightweight and breathable material for mobile use
This version is made from a breathable cotton blend fabric and is about one third lighter than the original LensHide. The material is comfortable to wear and quiet enough so that animals are disturbed as little as possible by movement. This makes the camouflage throw-over particularly suitable for longer sessions in the field.
Use in different positions
Flexible use while sitting and standing
The camouflage throw-over can be used both while sitting and standing. A camouflage mesh window is integrated into the hood, allowing you to observe your surroundings while your face remains hidden. At the same time, the viewing window protects against mosquitoes and other insects. If necessary, it can be opened, for example for binoculars or to position a flash unit correctly.
Operation and features
Practical details for observation and photography
Since the fabric rests on your head and the lens, you can move your hands underneath and operate the camera and lens without drawing attention through large external movements. The cloak can be opened and closed along the entire front length with hook-and-loop fasteners. At the top, there is also a slit with a hook-and-loop fastener for external use of a flash unit.
Fit and transport
Ideal for body heights up to about 1.90 m
This version is recommended for body heights up to approx. 1.90 m. For taller people from about 1.90 m, a tall version is available. Thanks to its low weight and the integrated pouch, the camouflage throw-over is easy to carry and can be stowed away quickly.
