Realtree Max5 camouflage pattern for natural environments

The Realtree Max5 camouflage color is particularly suitable for reed beds, shore areas, wetlands, fields, and other naturally structured environments with warm brown and beige tones. This makes this version ideal for bird and wildlife photography in open landscapes, by bodies of water, or in dry grass cover.

Material: lightweight, breathable, and quiet in use

This version is made from a breathable cotton blend fabric and is roughly one third lighter than the original LensHide. The material is comfortable to wear and quiet enough so that animals are disturbed as little as possible by your movements. This makes the camouflage cover particularly suitable for longer sessions in the field.

Use: suitable for sitting and standing

The camouflage cover can be used both while sitting and standing. The hood features an integrated camouflage mesh window through which you can observe your surroundings while your face remains hidden. In addition, the viewing window protects against mosquitoes and other insects. If necessary, it can be opened, for example for binoculars or to position a flash unit correctly.

Details for operation, observation, and flash use

Since the fabric rests on your head and the lens, you can move your hands underneath and operate the camera and lens without attracting attention through large external movements. The cloak can be opened and closed along its entire length at the front with hook-and-loop fasteners. At the top there is also a slit with a hook-and-loop fastener for external use of a flash unit.

Fit and transport: recommended up to approx. 1.90 m

This version is recommended for body heights up to approx. 1.90 m. For taller people from around 1.90 m, a tall version is available. Thanks to its low weight and the integrated pouch, the camouflage cover is easy to carry and can be stowed away quickly.

Practical tip: better visibility by keeping distance from the mesh window

With a peaked cap or baseball cap you can keep the mesh window slightly away from your face. This further improves visibility to the outside.
