Leofoto HC-28 Flexible Center Column
Flexible alignment for more working height and macro shots
The Leofoto HC-28 is a tiltable center column that you can use both horizontally and vertically. When the center column is in the vertical position, it increases the maximum working height of the tripod on which the HC-28 is mounted. By tilting the center column, it extends horizontally over the tripod; this is very interesting for top-down and/or macro photography. If necessary, you can hang a counterweight on the hook at the opposite end of the camera.

Compatibility and adjustment on the tripod
Easy to combine with the tripod:
The base platform with a diameter of 46 mm has a 3/8-inch thread, so this tiltable center column can be mounted on almost any tripod plate. The base of the tripod head can be rotated horizontally by 360° and tilted vertically by 90°, has a built-in bubble level, and is adjustable with the gray wing nut. The toothed locking system of the vertical rotating disc gives you more control when adjusting the vertical tilt angle.
Material, construction, and mounting details
10-layer carbon
The carbon tube features a clever anti-twist slot that prevents the tube from unintentionally rotating around its own axis. The tube has a diameter of 28 mm and a length of 400 mm. At the end of the center column, you can mount a tripod head of your choice onto the ø49 mm mounting plate. The thread of the mounting plate is equipped with both a 1/4-inch thread and a 3/8-inch thread. Thanks to the use of carbon and lightweight aircraft aluminum, the HC-28 weighs only 413 grams.
