The maximum extended length is 1.755 m, or 175.5 cm. This gives you a working height that still works well for taller people or when shooting over a crowd.

The diameters of the monopod leg sections are clearly graduated and designed for stability: 36 / 32 / 28 / 25 / 22 mm. You especially notice this when working with longer focal lengths; the whole setup doesn’t feel delicate, but solid.

High load capacity up to 17 kg with a weight of only 598 g

Despite its low weight, the maximum load capacity is specified at up to 17 kg. That’s more than most everyday photo setups will ever need. Whether it’s a camera with battery grip, a heavy telephoto lens, or a sturdy video head, this monopod is built to carry the load without getting shaky.

Carbon, 10-layer wrapped, plus foam grip and hand strap

For the material, Leofoto uses carbon, wrapped in 10 layers. That’s one of the reasons why the monopod stays light yet still feels stiff. The top section is covered with foam, giving you a secure grip, protecting against the cold, and simply making it more comfortable to carry. There’s also an integrated hand strap, which adds a bit of extra security in crowds or when changing positions quickly.

1/4" and 3/8" UNC photo thread with reversible stud

On top there is a tripod mount with a 1/4" to 3/8" UNC photo thread and a reversible stud. For you this means: you can switch flexibly depending on the head or accessory, without adapter chaos. It’s one of those details you only really appreciate once you need it.
