With the Leofoto Ranger LS-253CM carbon tripod including LH-30 ball head, you get a compact three-leg tripod with head that is designed for travel photography, landscape photography, low-angle work, and macro photography. Despite the low total weight of 1.03 kg, the system supports cameras up to 13 kg and is therefore also suitable for demanding setups with mirrorless cameras.

Stable carbon construction without center column

The tripod is made of carbon and consistently dispenses with a center column. This keeps the construction torsionally rigid and direct, especially for low-angle perspectives. The three leg sections per leg have diameters of 25 mm, 22 mm, and 19 mm and support the high load capacity while maintaining a compact packed size.

Working heights, transport size, and leg angles

For use on the go and on location, the tripod covers a wide range. The minimum working height is 14.5 cm, and the maximum working height is 0.7 m or 69.6 cm. With a transport length of 39 cm, it fits into many backpacks and travel luggage. Three leg angle settings of 23°, 55°, and 85° allow quick adjustments to terrain, low camera positions, and stable footprints.

LH-30 ball head and ARCA-compatible quick-release clamp

The included LH-30 ball head is designed for precise alignment in everyday photography and completes the tripod as a full set. According to the manufacturer, the clamp accepts an Arca-style compatible 38 mm dovetail. Notes on ARCA-compatible use help you choose suitable plates and L-brackets.
