The Really Right Stuff BA7RVI-B camera plate forms a precisely fitting and stable base for your Sony Alpha 7R VI. Its integrated Arca-style compatible clamping profile allows you to mount the camera directly in suitable 38 mm quick-release clamps. An additional universal plate is therefore unnecessary.

The camera-specific shape fits precisely to the body of the Sony Alpha 7R VI. Form-fitting stops prevent the camera from twisting on the plate and ensure reliable alignment even with frequent position changes.

Arca-style compatible BA7RVI-B camera plate

The 38 mm dovetail profile can be used with Arca-style compatible quick-release clamps. In addition, the camera plate fits suitable screw and lever clamps from Really Right Stuff as well as compatible clamps from Wimberley and Kirk.

This allows you to switch quickly between different tripods, ball heads and other compatible support systems. The laser-engraved sensor center mark makes it easier for you to align and balance the camera precisely.

Form-fitting anti-twist protection for the Sony Alpha 7R VI

Unlike a universal camera plate, the BA7RVI-B was developed specifically for the Sony Alpha 7R VI with the model designation ILCE-7RM6. Its contoured design fits snugly against the camera body and prevents lateral twisting under load.

This stable connection is particularly advantageous for longer exposure times, panoramas, macro shots and when working with larger lenses. At the same time, the battery compartment and relevant camera areas remain easily accessible.

QD strap socket for flexible transport

An integrated QD strap socket allows you to attach a compatible QD quick-release connector. This lets you connect a suitable carrying strap directly to the camera plate and transport your equipment comfortably.

The quick connection is practical if you regularly switch between handheld shooting and tripod use. The camera plate can remain permanently mounted on the body.

Modular system with expansion option

The Really Right Stuff BA7RVI-B has a modular design and can be supplemented if necessary with a suitable lateral L-component. This allows you to later expand the base plate into a complete L-bracket and mount your camera in portrait orientation directly in a compatible quick-release clamp.

Without the lateral component, the camera plate remains particularly flat and light. This gives you a compact solution for classic landscape use without having to forgo a later upgrade.

Holder for the hex key

The hex key required for mounting can be stored on the camera plate. This means you have the right tool quickly at hand when on the go and do not have to search for it separately in your camera bag.

There is also a 1/4-inch UNC tripod thread on the underside. It expands your mounting options and allows attachment to suitably equipped tripods and support systems.

Lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum with protective finish

The BA7RVI-B is made from durable 6061-T6 aluminum. The material combines high stability with low weight and is therefore ideal for a camera plate that remains permanently mounted on your Sony Alpha 7R VI.

A black Type II anodizing protects the surface from wear and corrosion. Weighing only 90 g, the plate adds a stable quick-release interface to your camera without unnecessarily adding weight to your equipment.
