With the Really Right Stuff BA7RVI-LS you get a precisely fitting modular L-bracket for the Sony Alpha 7R VI. The camera-specific design encloses the body with a form-fitting shape and ensures reliable twist protection. This keeps your camera securely in position even when frequently switching between landscape and portrait orientation.

Arca-style compatible clamping profiles on the base plate and on the side bracket allow you to attach it directly to suitable 38 mm quick-release clamps. When changing the shooting orientation, the camera remains close to the rotation axis of the tripod head, so you only need to make minor adjustments to the framing and balance.

Modular L-bracket with flexible side component

The BA7RVI-LS has a modular design. You can remove the side component if necessary and use the base plate separately on your Sony Alpha 7R VI. This lets you flexibly adapt the setup to your workflow and the specific photographic application.

The object-specific shape is matched to the Sony Alpha 7R VI with the model designation ILCE-7RM6. In contrast to a universal bracket, the BA7RVI-LS fits precisely against the camera body and thus offers you an especially stable connection.

Arca-style compatible for landscape and portrait format

The 38 mm clamping profile is designed for Arca-style compatible quick-release clamps. In addition, the L-bracket can be used with suitable clamps from Really Right Stuff, Wimberley and Kirk.

You can mount your camera in landscape orientation via the base plate and in portrait orientation via the side clamping profile. This makes your work easier in landscape, architecture, studio and panoramic photography, as the camera does not tilt sideways next to the tripod head when changing orientation.

R-Lock for additional security

The Really Right Stuff BA7RVI-LS supports the R-Lock safety system. In combination with a suitable R-Lock clamp, accidental lateral slipping out of the open quick-release clamp is made more difficult.

The form-fitting connection with the camera body also prevents the Sony Alpha 7R VI from twisting on the base plate. This is particularly advantageous for portrait-format shots and with heavy lenses.

QD strap socket and integrated tool holder

An integrated QD strap socket allows you to attach a compatible QD quick-release connector. This lets you connect a suitable carrying strap directly to the L-bracket and quickly switch your camera between transport and tripod use.

The required hex key can be stored magnetically on the L-bracket. This keeps the tool for adjustments or disassembly readily accessible on your camera gear when you are on the go.

Precise alignment with sensor center marking

A laser-engraved marking indicates the position of the sensor center. It helps you align the camera precisely on a tripod head, panorama system or macro rail.

There is also a 1/4-inch UNC tripod thread on the underside. This provides additional mounting options for compatible tripod and mounting systems.

BA7RVI-LS made of anodized 6061-T6 aluminum

Really Right Stuff manufactures the modular L-bracket from robust 6061-T6 aluminum. The material offers high strength at a comparatively low weight and is therefore ideal for regular professional use.

The type II black anodized finish protects the aluminum from external influences and gives the L-bracket a discreet appearance. With a weight of 150 g, it adds a durable tripod interface to your camera without unnecessarily increasing the load.
