The Really Right Stuff BSL2-LS is made in the USA and CNC precision-milled from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum. This material is widely used in aerospace engineering because it offers a very good weight-to-strength ratio. The L-bracket weighs only about 143 g and still remains extremely torsion-resistant.

The surface has a Type II black anodized finish. This anodized layer protects the aluminum from corrosion and signs of wear and ensures a discreet, matte look that matches the dark surfaces of the Leica SL2 and SL2-S.
