Precise adjustment of reach
Fine adjustment
The PP 210 extension arm is an add-on for the Wimberley Plamp. It serves to precisely position the object to be fixed by extending the reach of the Plamp and providing the option for fine adjustment.
The Wimberley Plamp can, for example, be roughly positioned to hold the extension arm, while the fixing and precise alignment of the photographic subject is done via the plant clip on the extension arm.
More freedom of movement with a fixed object
Control
Once the object is fixed, the arm increases your control over the position of the object by offering more options for shifting and rotating it. This is advantageous in most cases and can be especially useful when working with fragile objects that would be damaged by the Plamp’s coarse holding clamp.
Features of the plant clip
The plant clip:
- the clip can be closed very precisely using a screw
- the foam pads prevent damage to delicate plant parts
- made of Zytel ST and therefore extremely resistant to mechanical damage
- grooves on the inside prevent plant parts or reflectors from slipping in the clamp
