JJC JN-62X40 neoprene lens pouch: compact protection for small photo adapters and converters

If you transport teleconverters, extension tubes or bayonet adapters loose in your camera bag, they often don’t look very nice anymore after a few outings. That’s exactly what the JJC JN-62X40 neoprene lens pouch is made for: a soft, pleasantly flexible sleeve that protects your accessories on the go from scratches, dust and the typical rubbing against each other. And yes, it’s deliberately kept simple, but it’s practical.

The neoprene is 5 mm thick. This means your accessories don’t lie “naked” in your backpack, but get proper padding that noticeably absorbs shocks and pressure in everyday use. The closure is Velcro, quick to open and quick to close, without fiddling, even when things need to move fast.

Fit JN-62X40: 4 cm length and up to 6.2 cm diameter

With a length of 4 cm and a maximum diameter of 6.2 cm, the pouch is designed for compact parts. Typical candidates are teleconverters and adapters – exactly the things you like to have with you but don’t like to let rattle around unprotected. The fit is not excessively tight, more like you can easily get the item in and out again without having to struggle every time.

Compatible with many Canon EF, Canon RF, Nikon F, Sony and Sigma converters and adapters

We’ve designed the JJC JN-62X40 with practical use in mind, namely for common accessories from various systems. For Canon EF, for example, it fits the Canon EF Extender 1.4x III and the Canon EF Extender 1.4x II. Adapters such as the Canon Mount Adapter EF EOS R, the Canon Mount Adapter EF EOS R with control ring as well as the versions with drop-in filters, one V ND and one C PL, also find a suitable padded sleeve here. It is likewise intended for the Canon Extension Tube EF 12 II and the Canon Extension Tube EF 25 II, as well as the Canon EF EOS M adapter.

If you use Nikon, the pouch is suitable, among others, for the Nikon Teleconverter 1.4x AF-S TC-14E II and the Nikon Teleconverter 1.4x AF-S TC-14E III. For Sony it works with the Sony 1.4x Teleconverter FE SEL14TC (2016), the Sony 1.4x Teleconverter FE SEL14TC, and the Sony 1.4x Teleconverter SAL14TC. For Canon RF, the Canon RF Extender 1.4x (2020) is a typical match. Sigma is also covered, for example with the Sigma 1.4x EX APO DG Converter and the Sigma TC-1401 teleconverter.

Quick to attach: carabiner and Velcro closure for on the go

A small detail you quickly learn to appreciate: the pouch comes with a carabiner. This lets you attach it to a belt loop or hang it on the outside of your backpack, depending on how you work on the go. This keeps your accessories within easy reach and prevents them from disappearing somewhere between batteries, cables and small items. The Velcro closure stays reliably shut, even if you open and close the pouch frequently.
