JJC JN-65X78 Neoprene Lens Pouch: compact protection that simply comes along

When a lens is lying loose in your backpack, sometimes just a small bump is enough to cause annoyance later. That’s exactly what the JJC JN-65X78 neoprene lens pouch is made for: soft, flexible, and still sturdy enough to reliably protect your glass in everyday use. We deliberately use neoprene with a material thickness of 5 mm because it absorbs shocks and helps prevent scratches from occurring in the first place. And yes, it feels pleasant, not as hard and bulky as some cases.

The pouch closes with a hook-and-loop fastener. It’s quick, even if you only have one free hand, and you can get to the lens fast without fumbling around. For when you’re on the go, there is also a carabiner so you can attach the pouch to a belt loop or your backpack. Practical when things need to move quickly or you simply don’t have any space left inside.

Fit and dimensions: 7.8 cm length, up to 6.5 cm diameter

So that it doesn’t just fit “roughly”, the dimensions are clearly defined: the JJC JN-65X78 is designed for a length of 7.8 cm and accommodates lenses with a maximum diameter of 6.5 cm. That may sound like just numbers, but in everyday use it’s exactly the difference between sitting securely and sliding around. The neoprene sleeve gently conforms to the lens without being overly tight.

Compatible with Canon extenders: EF and RF

We designed the pouch to fit typical Canon extenders that you like to protect separately while still keeping them within easy reach. For Canon EF lenses, it fits the Canon EF Extender 2x III. And if you’re using the RF system, it also works with the Canon RF Extender 2x (2020). Extenders in particular tend to be “quickly taken along” when you’re out and about and then end up somewhere; here they get their fixed place.

Neoprene in use: quiet, lightweight, unobtrusively robust

Neoprene has a very pleasant characteristic: it protects without being bulky. The surface is soft, the pouch remains lightweight, and nothing rattles when you pack your gear. On top of that, the 5 mm padding not only helps against scratches but also softens small knocks during transport. For us, this is the kind of accessory you only miss once you don’t have it with you.
