That’s exactly what the JJC JN-M lens pouch is for: a soft neoprene pouch that cushions your lens all around while staying pleasantly lightweight. The material is 5 mm thick, noticeably grippy, and absorbs everyday shocks quite reliably, whether you’re on your way to a shoot or just quickly heading into town.
And yes, neoprene is not just “soft”, it also has a bit of give. This means the lens doesn’t rattle around in the pouch, but sits… snugly.
Fit for small lenses: 6.2 cm diameter and 6.8 cm length
So you don’t have to guess: the pouch is designed for lenses with a maximum diameter of 6.2 cm and a length of 6.8 cm. That’s ideal for compact primes or short zooms – exactly the kind of lenses you like to “just quickly” throw in your bag and then end up transporting without protection.
