The Olympus 300mm f/4 M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED IS PRO is a compact, extremely powerful telephoto lens for wildlife, birds and nature, and is therefore often used outdoors. Whether at the edge of the forest, in the reeds, on tour or in a hide: your lens quickly comes into contact with branches, stones, tripod parts or your backpack. The LensCoat™ lens cover in the Realtree Max5 pattern reliably protects your valuable telephoto from impacts, scratches and abrasion and helps you to preserve its well-maintained condition and long-term value.
Realtree Max5 has been developed especially for natural environments and supports you when working discreetly: the lens camouflage helps to visually break up the contours of the telephoto, so that you often appear less conspicuous to animals. This can be crucial when you are photographing shy subjects and want to capture natural behavioral moments with as little disturbance as possible.

This LensCoat™ cover is designed for Olympus / OM SYSTEM lenses and fits: M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm 1:4.0 IS PRO or Olympus 300mm f/4 M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED IS PRO. Thanks to the lens-specific fit, the neoprene cover sits snugly and cleanly covers the relevant areas without unnecessarily restricting operation. Your lens thus remains fully ready for use, handheld, on a monopod or on a tripod.
Neoprene material: shock-absorbing and abrasion-reducing for outdoor use
The LensCoat™ telephoto lens cover made of neoprene protects your valuable lens from impacts and scratches. Neoprene has a shock-absorbing effect and reduces abrasion caused by friction, for example from straps, zippers or other accessories in your backpack. Especially on frequent outdoor tours, this results in fewer visible signs of use and supports long-term value retention.
In addition, the material often improves grip, giving you secure handling during fast movements and longer sessions.
Insulating effect: more comfort in cold weather and winter use
The cover also offers an insulating function, which makes handling the lens more pleasant in extreme cold. Instead of gripping the cold lens surface directly, you have insulating neoprene in your hand. This significantly increases comfort during winter use, frosty early mornings or long sessions in a hide.
Transparent access: viewing window for AF switches
So that you can react quickly at the crucial moment, the cover has a transparent plastic window over the autofocus switches. This allows you to check and adjust settings without having to remove the lens cover.
Lens hood cover: hood operable, focus ring accessible
The cover for the lens hood allows you to extend and retract the hood without having to remove the protection. When the lens hood is fully extended, the AF ring is exposed. This keeps your workflow smooth and you can continue to focus and work comfortably.
Optional cover: segment for use without tripod collar
The scope of delivery includes an additional segment to cover the area that becomes exposed when the lens is used without tripod collar. This ensures that everything remains well protected and visually consistent in this configuration as well.
