Leofoto LB-75 leveling base
Leofoto LB-75 leveling base: get perfectly level quickly, without contorting the tripod
When you need a really precise horizontal alignment, you don’t want to readjust every single tripod leg just because the ground is uneven. That’s exactly what the Leofoto LB-75 leveling base is made for. It sits directly on the mounting platform of your tripod and gives you comfortable, finely adjustable leveling before a ball head, fluid video head, gimbal head, panorama head, or macro rail even comes into play.
What we like about the LB-75 is that it doesn’t make things complicated. Unlock, level, lock, done. And yes, in practice that saves more time than you’d think, especially if you change locations frequently.
Mounting with 3/8" UNC top and bottom, sits tight and stays that way
The leveling base is attached to the tripod at the bottom via its 3/8" UNC base thread. On top you also have a 3/8" UNC connection so you can simply screw on your preferred tripod head.
To keep the head from twisting unnoticed later on, the Leofoto LB-75 has three set screws arranged at an angle around the upper edge. By tightening these hex socket screws, the connection between leveling base and tripod head becomes twist-proof and really solid. It’s the kind of detail you only miss when it’s not there.
Leveling with bull’s-eye spirit level and 15° adjustment range, conveniently via lever
When unlocked, you can adjust the LB-75 within 15°. The integrated, easy-to-read bull’s-eye spirit level helps you hit the plane precisely, without any guesswork. Everything is locked in place via a lever that can be comfortably operated with one hand, even when you want to keep an eye on the camera at the same time.
The level is designed as one large bull’s-eye spirit level. You can see it more quickly, especially outdoors when things get hectic.
Load capacity up to 25 kg, aluminum housing, compact 7.5 cm height
Despite its compact dimensions, the Leofoto LB-75 is built to be robust. The maximum load is 25 kg, so it’s suitable even for heavy setups with telephoto lens or video head. The leveling base is made of aluminum, sturdy yet pleasantly easy to carry.
