Leofoto LB-75S leveling insert 75 mm for precise alignment

If you really want things to be perfectly level, the Leofoto LB-75S leveling insert is one of those parts you use once and then never want to be without. The leveling base has a diameter of 75 mm, fits tripods with a removable 75 mm platform between the tripod legs, and aligns your camera or your head quickly and in a controlled way. Especially for architecture, video, or simply whenever the horizon must not be “roughly” straight, this makes a noticeable difference.

The LB-75S is designed for Leofoto tripods where the 75 mm platform between the tripod legs can be removed. Specifically, it fits the following models: LM-324CL, LM-364C, LM-362C, LM-365C, LM-323C, LM-324C, LM-364CL, and LM-363C. This keeps your tripod flexible, because depending on the application you can use it with a leveling base instead of the standard platform.

Fine adjustment: ±15° adjustment range and integrated bubble level

For alignment you have an adjustment range of plus/minus 15 degrees at your disposal. In practice, this is surprisingly often sufficient, even on uneven ground. A bubble level is also integrated: a quick glance, a small readjustment, and you’re done. No guesswork, no “looks straight enough”.

Threads, dimensions, and construction: 3/8 inch, 8.1 cm height, 346 g

For the connection, Leofoto relies on the common 3/8 inch 16 UNC thread, and an additional 3/8 inch 16 connection is provided. The tripod thread is designed as a 3/8 inch UNC internal thread, exactly what you constantly handle in the professional field anyway.

The platform diameter and base diameter are each 7.5 cm, and the height is 8.1 cm. At 346 g, the leveling insert remains pleasantly portable, but does not feel “lightweight”; rather, it feels solid and functional.

Material and finish: 6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized

The Leofoto LB-75S is made from 6061-T6 aluminum. The material is known for a good balance of stability and weight, and it simply fits what you expect from Leofoto. The surface is black anodized, unobtrusive, robust, and even after frequent use it usually still looks presentable.
