Kirk LP-6814KIT for the Sony FE 100-400mm
With the Kirk LP-6814KIT you replace the standard tripod foot of your Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5 GM OSS [SEL100400MC] with a precisely manufactured and versatile solution. The replacement foot set combines a stable lens mount with an integrated quick-release profile, making it easier for you to switch between transport, handheld shooting, and tripod use.
Can be used directly in Arca-style compatible clamps
The 38 mm wide clamping profile fits, according to the manufacturer, into Arca-style compatible quick-release clamps. This allows you to mount the lens directly into a suitable tripod head or gimbal clamp without an additional quick-release plate. This reduces the number of required components and ensures a tidy, practical setup.
Secure hold in the quick-release coupling
Two safety stop screws on the underside help prevent the lens foot from accidentally sliding out of a suitably designed quick-release coupling. In addition, a 1/4-inch UNC and a 3/8-inch UNC photo thread are available for mounting to compatible photo accessories.
QD mount for your camera strap
The integrated QD strap mount enables a quickly detachable connection between lens and carrying strap. To use it, you need a strap with a suitable QD strap anchor. This allows you to carry the lens comfortably and detach the strap with just a few simple steps when needed.
Robust construction for regular use
The Kirk LP-6814KIT is made from durable 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized to protect the surface. With a length of 12.7 cm, a height of 3.4 cm, and a weight of 116 g, the replacement foot provides a stable base without unnecessarily weighing down your photo equipment.
Additional accessories recommended by us
For the QD mount we recommend a compatible strap with QD strap anchor. For tripod use, suitable Arca-style compatible quick-release clamps are also suitable.

Tip
