Leofoto SF-06 replacement foot for the Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM

The Leofoto SF-06 replaces the original tripod foot of your Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS. Its precisely fitting design creates a stable and practical connection between lens and tripod head. Thanks to the low profile, the center of gravity moves closer to the tripod head, making your camera-lens setup easier to handle and better balanced.

Direct mounting with Arca-style clamping profile

The integrated, 38 mm wide Arca-compatible clamping profile allows you to mount it directly in suitable quick-release clamps. This makes an additional lens plate unnecessary. According to the available compatibility information, the profile is suitable, among others, for matching clamps from Arca-Style, ProMediaGear, Wimberley, Really Right Stuff, Jobu Design and Kirk, as well as for the FlexShooter screw cross clamp.

Secure switching between tripod and carrying strap

Using the integrated QD strap socket, you can connect your lens to a compatible carrying system. For use, you need a suitable strap with QD strap anchor. This lets you quickly switch between tripod use and comfortable carrying over your shoulder.

Robust construction for everyday photography

The Leofoto SF-06 is made from durable 6061-T6 aluminum and features a black anodized finish. The material combines high stability with a comparatively low weight. Two safety stop screws prevent the tripod foot from accidentally sliding out of the clamp if a quick-release clamp is loosened.

Additional mounting options on the underside

On the underside you have two 1/4-inch UNC photo threads and one 3/8-inch UNC photo thread at your disposal. This allows the replacement foot to be connected to other compatible photo and tripod accessories as well.

Dimensions and weight of the Leofoto SF-06

The replacement foot is 13.3 cm long, 3.8 cm wide and 3.4 cm high. With a weight of 110 g, your telephoto setup remains compact and easy to transport.

Tip

Like all mechanical components, QD adapters occasionally need some maintenance so that the pins function reliably. We maintain our adapters with Ballistol or WD-40.
