This weather protection is therefore ideal for demanding outdoor use, changeable weather, and travel.
Protection concept for DSLR setups with telephoto lens
The RainCoat 2 Standard was developed for DSLR and comparable camera setups with lenses up to 100–400 mm or 400 mm f/5.6. It is therefore perfectly suited for many telephoto zooms and telephoto lenses that are frequently used in nature, travel, sports, and telephoto photography.
Thanks to the lightweight, waterproof, breathable, and low-noise material, your equipment remains protected even in challenging conditions. The sealed seams further increase protection and help to reliably keep moisture out.
Operating access: Two side openings
A major advantage of this LensCoat rain cover is the 2 side access openings. Through the rear side opening you can reach the camera, while the second opening allows particularly comfortable operation of the lens. This is especially practical when you focus manually or want to react quickly to changing shooting situations.
In addition, you can operate the camera via the rear opening. The lower hook-and-loop fastener makes it easier to use on a tripod or monopod and supports access to the lens.
Mounting and adjustment in use
The LensCoat RainCoat 2 Standard can be attached quickly and easily. Using the width adjustment with hook-and-loop straps, you adapt the rain cover to the length and circumference of your lens. An anti-slip insert at the end of the lens hood ensures a secure fit. Also practical is the integrated storage pouch, in which the RainCoat can be stored compactly.
No special eyecup is required for use. This makes it particularly straightforward and suitable for everyday use.

The rain cover is suitable, among others, for numerous lenses from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Sigma, Tamron, Fuji, Panasonic, Pentax, and Olympus or OM SYSTEM. Size guide for selection
To determine the appropriate size, measure the length of your camera–lens setup from the lens hood to the eyepiece and add about 10 cm. The Standard version is designed for more compact telephoto setups up to 400 mm f/5.6.
